Lukas Armstrong, design + consulting (LADC) is a multi-disciplinary studio, practicing design across a range of scales and building types including residential, commercial, institutional and industrial, using both standard construction practices and cutting edge sustainable strategies.

The LADC approach centers around open communication and in-depth research. Each project offers a unique set of opportunities and requirements. Once these are understood, appropriate design solutions are developed which reflect the needs of the client and the site.

The LADC philosophy is a healthy mix of idealism and pragmatism. We believe that every project has the opportunity to consider sustainability within the available budget by making appropriate decisions in site planning, space planning, material selection, and system design.

Lukas was raised in northern BC on a 160 acre, solar-powered ranch. After working in a variety of trades, including the construction industry, he entered school to study sculpture, industrial design, and architecture. This combination of hands-on experience and formal education delivers projects that are sustainable, practical and beautiful.

Whether your project is urban or rural, standard construction or cutting edge sustainable, Lukas will work with you to create a solution appropriate to your aesthetic, your site and your budget.
